What to Expect
Speech and Language Evaluations help drive therapeutic intervention by determining communication strengths and weaknesses in order to target areas of greatest need.
Assessment may include: case history, parent or student interview, standardized and non-standardized assessment tools/tests, language sampling, and rating scales.
Formal testing typically takes 1-2 hours to complete. Written reports will be provided within 5 business days.
Costs will vary on a case by case basis. A comprehensive evaluation includes a full case review, formal testing, and a written report costing $200-$300, dependent on complexity and time required.
