Speech Sounds
Deficits or delays in speech sound production, articulation, and phonological processes are treated using evidenced-based methods. An approach is selected based on the sounds your child is already using or is able to use with a bit of help.
Language
Language refers to how we understand what is spoken to us (receptive language) and how we use language to express ourselves (expressive language).
Language encompasses a variety of concepts including: vocabulary, verbal and reading comprehension, grammar and syntax (sentence structure), morphology (word structure), and concept understanding.
Stuttering
People who stutter demonstrate speech that includes more disfluencies or atypical disfluencies, such as sound, syllable and word repetitions, prolongations, and blocks. Therapy is tailored to meet the communication needs of each individual.

Pragmatics
Pragmatic language involves using language socially, including understanding perspectives, making inferences, engaging in conversations, and self-advocacy.
Early Intervention
Early intervention typically refers to speech and language therapy for children under the age of 3 years. Most often this treatment model uses parental interaction and training to foster language growth.
